While known for his comedic acting, Cha Tae Hyun is also looking to prove he’s got the action chops in his upcoming drama as well.

Cha Tae Hyun kicked off filming for KBS’ Woochiearlier this month in Gangwon-do’s Chulwon in his first television drama in three years. 

New preview stills of Cha Tae Hyun shows the actor making great leaps and harnessing his Taoism magic while dressed fully in character as Jeon Woochi. 

For his action-heavy role, Cha Tae Hyun has taken on some intense scenes, leaping off boulders, 2m high ladders and other stunts in a fearless manner. 

With time ticking down to its November release, MBC’s I Miss You revealed its second teaser, featuring the child actors, Yeo Jin Gu and Kim So Hyun. 

On October 24, the second teaser was revealed, already foreshadowing a heartbreaking first love story. Although only 40-seconds long, the teaser showed the two young actors, expressing their feelings for each other. 

At the end of the teaser, Yeo Jin Gu is seen with bruises and crying endlessly over something. 

Kim So Yeon narrates, “I like you, I don’t like you. The wind blows and I think of you. As if all the bad memories fade away, I remember you.”

Ha Jung Woo is undergoing a transformation as a news anchor.

The actor’s agency confirmed on October 24, the actor had joined director Kim Byung Woo’s upcoming thriller movie, The Terror Live. 

Ha Jung Woo will play a news anchor who captures a terrorist attack on the Han River live during a news segment which leads to a series of events. Filming for the movie will kick off in January.

Uhm Tae Woong may soon be returning to viewers on the small screen through SBS’ upcoming new historic drama.


Uhm Tae Woong’s agency confirmed initial reports on October 24 that the actor was in final discussion with the production of SBS’ The Hidden Story of Yi Soon Shin (tentative title) to play the leading role of Admiral Yi Soon Shin. 

Directed by Jin Hyuk, who previously directed such dramas as City Hunter, the new historic drama revolves around the story of Admiral Yi Soon Shin, one of Korea’s most celebrated historic figures. 

In the fictional account, Yi Soon Shin doesn’t die in the naval battle of Noryang but travels the seas all around the world to find a new land to govern.

A look at Kim Dong Wan on the set of his new KBS drama has been revealed.

KBS unveiled the new pictures on October 24, showing Kim Dong Wan in character as Cheer Up, Mr. Kim’s lead, Kim Tae Pyeong. 

In one picture, Kim Dong Wan is seen stretching out his legs while seated in between takes for a scene. Another image shows Kim Dong Wan in a park outside and on one of the park’s exercise machines. 

Hallyu star Yoon Sang Hyun and ZE:A‘s Dong Joon have been cast for “I Love You Ahjusshi.”

According to several broadcast sources, actors Oh Man Seok and Jung Hoon Ha have also been confirmed for this upcoming drama, which will air in the first half of next year.

Yoon Sang Hyun, who is currently working in Japan, has the leading role of Jang Baek Ho, a singer. This will be his second time acting as a singer since he appeared in “Secret Garden” as Oscar. Dong Joon received high praise for his acting in the film “A Company Man” and will play the role of an idol singer, Sirius, who is Yoon Sang Hyun’s rival.

Miss A’s Suzy recently said her ideal type is actor Kang Dong Won.

On the episode of SBS Power FM’s Jung Sun Hee’s A Night Like Tonight that aired on October 23, Miss A appeared as guests after releasing a new song, “Can Live Without Men.” They talked about their new album and their life.

Regarding their ideal types from celebrities, Pei and Min said, “We like Won Bin. Please meet us.”

Suzy said, “I like Kang Dong Won’s double eyelid. I watched the film Jeon Woochi more than seven times to see Kang Dong Won.”

Pictures of Big Bang’s T.O.P shooting the movie Alumni were recently released.

An online community posted pictures with the caption, “T.O.P of Alumni is meeting the heroine.”

In the pictures, T.O.P is shooting the movie by the sea. He looks like a bad boy with a lollipop in his mouth and it drew a lot of attention.

The heroine, who is standing with T.O.P, is a new movie star named Han Ye Ri. She previously appeared on the movie Korea and played the role of a North Korean ping-pong player.

Pictures of Song Joong Ki playing the harmonica were recently released.

On October 23, KBS’s series Innocent Man released pictures on their official website with the caption, “Play the harmonica, harmonica Ma Roo.”

The pictures were taken when Song (plays the role of Kang Ma Roo) shot the scene, in which he goes on a date with Moon Chae Won (plays the role of Seo Eun Ki). He plays the harmonica for her and tells her how he feels.

In the 13th episode of KBS2’s Wednesday-Thursday series Innocent Man, which aired on October 24, Jae Hee (played by Park Shi Yeon) learns that Eun Gi (played by Moon Chae Won) suffers a memory loss.

Agonizing over Eun Gi and Ma Ru, Jae Hee drinks on her own. When Min Young (played by Kim Tae Hoon) comes in, she suggests drinking with her.

Criticizing Jae Hee for her drinking at work, Min Young hands in her a photo of Eun Gi’s brain and a medical referral letter.
